Challenges through the years which board members have successfully championed and resolved include:
• Well water protection, effective fire mitigation, bringing AED units to the mountain, fight against spruce budworm and noxious weeds, and road maintenance.
• A long court battle was won to prohibit building 40 homes in our beautiful Meadow, due to a lack of
groundwater to support the plan. The judge ruled only four building permits allowed.
• Paving of Bear Mountain Vista from the intersection of Stanley Park and Bear Mountain Drive.
